In December Dr. Carl Werne examines the extraordinary, talent, life & career of Ludwig van Beethoven.  In addition to a remarkable story about a Russian political figure, Dr. Werne describes Beethoven's victory over a debilitating medical condition that makes his success even more remarkable. 

In November, Dr. Werne pauses his medical advice to discuss Patriotism and why the United States is the most remarkable nation in the world.  In November Americans choose their new leaders as they have since our Constitution was ratified in June of  1788.   In this episode, you will not only hear the Classical greats but  also the American Legends of Jazz.  This is an uplifting program with the usual knowledge and humor of Dr. Werne.  In December you will again hear Dr. Werne explain a medical issue with his expertise and zeal.

Dr. Carl Werne, M.D. reminds us that October is the month of Oktoberfest in Germany and around the world. This month also marks Halloween with Song, Dance and the Music of Death.  During the Medical Segment, Dr. Werne covers the heartbreak of alcohol dependency, abuse, symptoms, causes, risks and treatment.

October also features a Hit Performance of a Top 5 Popular Song which is performed by its author and composer.   Dr. Werne played his cello on this song with the recording artist "Live" in New York City.
