This mix is a sizable remark about the human elements available to electronic producers today.  Dante serves up a constant barrage of style and sound that makes it hard to believe there aren't real musicians in the studio.  Its got a sweet allure as the intro gives way almost immediately to a big bump in your Sunday night dance vibe.  Later the tracks become more sophisticated as the hook dives deep into a post-modern house vibe with confidence.  Sorry if we keep you up late tonight.  The Deepshakerz don't lie, you're a victim of the funk.  Enjoy! Scot Shapiro kicks off this weekend with his newest mix 'Closer' for EarTheater. A smooth 6 minute ambient intro that blends nicely into some old school progressive breaks and continues onto some pounding beats. Scot really knows the craft of mixing and it shows throughout his dynamic process of carefully selecting music from a variety of genres. It's undeniable the euphony of this mix will make you want to get up and dance. Enjoy! Movin' Melodies is a most appropriate name for Chris Tennant's mix, but his timing is the name of the game.  Chris shows real mastery of his gear here and the track list is a set of highly skilled labor.  Perfect examples that define the Melodic House genre.  No surprise at all that Bjork shows up around the hour mark to put her unique stamp on things.  Listen carefully and you find each track plays a great hand into the next deep, immersive layer.  It all combines to make a  rich progressive vibe.  Enjoy! Tom Rudolf is our special guest this week.  He brings artful tracks and a smooth mix out of Santa Barbara, California.  There will not be any time for talking as you follow Tom across bridges which are effortless and sublime, in both genre and atmosphere.  The mix builds straight up into a plateau full of pads and rhythms which provide both energy and tranquility.  A less often nod to nostalgia rounds out the experience and sets Tom right, in his own progressive time and space.  Enjoy! Genre-busting, heart-filling, and my favorite mix so far from this EarTheater resident!  This set is a shot straight from the soul of electronic dance.  You won't find emotional content this good, curated for one hour, and blended as smooth as glass in many places in the world.  This is what new music does best.  It captivates, it motivates and then drives the listener to go get more out of life.  Enjoy! Episode 082 could easily have been titled "Better Late Than Never", but EarTheater knows that true is better than done.  In the first half of Inner Rebel Mark lays out a melodic progressive vibe that offers a softer side of upfront dance.  The second half showcases Mark's dedication to new and unreleased tracks which bring true late night energy to a dance floor.  Enjoy! Sassy rhythms are served up all the way through Keep Pushin Salvation.  Episode 080 is a romp of style and atmosphere.  The early sass comes from a series of basslines which constantly change and mingle from track to track.  Later the modern disco gives way to progressive lines and its the bridges themselves which produce the sassy sway.  in the final third, melodic house provides a heady and groovy landing for the energy in this dance set.  Enjoy! Scott Riley is on deck this week with Episode 079 Inanimence.  Progressive dance music is always the new black.  In this mix moodiness lives happily alongside big synths and straight-up dance rhythms.  The mix moves along at quick pace with only occasional breaks for air, and even those have beats.  Scott highlights his dance floor interests with producers like Eelke Kleijn, AFFKT, and Monolink.  This set is a builder, stay a while and shake your ass.  Enjoy!  Bitrates:M4A - 512k - Best Compressed MP3 - 320kFLAC - High Quality Lossless (may not play in all browsers / devices) Track Listing:01 - Dida (Original Version) - Sebastien Leger02 - Nous (Original Mix) - Kora (CA)03 - Blue Dream (Original Mix) - DaZZla04 - Marimbo (Original Mix) - Daniel Rateuke05 - Imagination (Dub Mix) - Adrien(RO)06 - Immanence (Original Mix) - Mashk07 - The Calling (Extended Mix) - Eelke Kleijn08 - Mania (Dub Mix) - Wielki09 - In Between (Original Mix) - D-Nox, Victor Ruiz10 - Airborne (Original Mix) - Guy J11 - The Sun (Mees Salomé Remix) - Frankyeffe12 - Timisoara (Original Mix) - Habits, Stefano Noferini13 - Sirens (Patrice BÃumel Remix) - Monolink14 - Hey Hey (AFFKT Remix)  - Martin Eyerer, Ruede Hagelstein15 - Swallow (Oliver Koletzki Remix) - Monolink16 - Crack In The Wall feat. Episode 076 is rare Joi these days.  And being a DJ's DJ is no small task. Chris Tennant crafted a deep, trancey set even DJs will appreciate.  Give a listen to find lively rhythms buried under dreamy pads and highlighted with energetic syncopation.  The music selection pokes a hole in your bland everyday and steadily builds both energy and emotion as one long effort towards aural satisfaction.  Its a beautiful thing when done right, turn it up.  Enjoy!
