Jack here, in this episode myself and Fenn sit down with Declan O'Driscoll to discuss me and Declan's album we made together 8 years ago. IMO this album is quite an anomaly that didn't really get it's time in the sun because we broke up immediately after launching this record.

It's one of Jonathon (Jono) Tookes earliest records he produced, it features guest talents of Heather Riley (Cry Club) and Jariss Shead (Troldhaugen), and the cast and crew of our music videos at the time of release are a wonderful archive of some of Wollongong's finest people.

The songs are really really weird, the instrumentation is wild, some of the creative choices on this are so bizarre. It's an album I look back on really fondly and it is such a fitting ending to a beautiful and challenging chapter in our lives.

In a very special episode, Fenn interviews New Zealand bedroom pop artist Pickle Darling aka Lukas Mayo about their latest album Laundromat. They talk about demystifying song-writing, working in retail, and sing the praises of a little known band called U2.

Then, Jack and Fenn break down three songs off Laundromat. They talk about being uncynical, finding community at the Wollongong laundromat during the NSW floods, conveying big ideas with in short form, making soup while listening to the It Follows soundtrack and much more. Fenn writes a (very short) song inspired by Pickle Darling.

Then, Jack and Fenn dive into the album; they talk Australian masculinity, writing instrumentals before lyrics, post-punk, and Fenn writes a song (loosely) inspired by You Beauty.
