This week we're taking a deeper dive into rave culture in the west coast of Scotland and how it is intrinsically tied up with working class, "ned" youth culture and the futile need to escape. We look at the culture through the lens of Graeme Armstrong's (writer of The Young Team) BBC documentary Scotland The Rave. We hope we provide a meaningful, respectful commentary on the rave community and the associated sub cultures. Graeme Armstrong you're an amazing guy who has written a truly beautiful account of being a YT member and all the anxiety and hopelessness that comes with that but the presenting style in this doc is off the wall. There's a segment where he's just skating around the Time Capsule.. or was he? J was convinced there was stunt legs involved.
