Ken is upset. Ken has beef with both the Republican and Democratic National Conventions, and just has to vent about it. Now Brent and Jack offer some advice, that Ken could just change the channel, but Ken insists on watching and disliking what he sees.

Kia joins the show after some time away and she and Jack interrogate Ken on his stinginess. Farmer Dave outlines his platform in his 10th attempt at being elected governor of Vermont.

Ken asks Brent what this winter will hold for High School Basketball with crowds not being allowed in gyms. Then the gang talk about dogs and dog people.

Ken, Kia, and Jack help a listener sell their croquet set, preview the night's Red Sox game, debut a new song from Mylo Hatzenbuhler, share helpful hints for the home, and read poetry. It's a jam-packed show of useful info and great music.

We pay tribute to racing legend Bob Bahre, who saved Oxford Plains speedway from demolition in 1964 and built New Hampshire Motor Speedway in 1990. Mylo Hatzenbuhler calls in for another guest appearance to talk about North Dakota and new music.

WDEV first went on the air July 15th, 1931. This past week, we celebrated our 89th birthday. So this week on the show, we have a special "celebration" of our own.

The gang gets a call from the great Mylo "the Silo" Hatzenbuehler, author of such hits as "In the Coop." Mylo hails from North Dakota, where locally he is known as "The King of Rock and Roll...of North Dakota."

Ken was finally let out of his remote broadcast location inside his chicken coop in Stowe. But we still check in on the chickens and celebrate them with a song.

Farmer Dave joins the gang and he suggests to Ken that he could fix up the chicken coop.

Ken kicks off the show stating there is a need for more animal representation on the program, so he reads a poem and plays a lovely song about bears. Getaway announce Greg Hooker and a young Stowe reporter give their bear descriptions. Stay tuned for more animal related programming.
