Music With Mal

Very excited for this week’s episode! BECAUSE! I finally took the time to learn how to add music clips into the episode, yayyy!  Now anytime I am doing “Track Recommendations” I am able to play a little clip of the track for you guys, rather than you just listening to me hype up the song and describe it by myself, lol.  This is going to be so much better and I’m super happy I can share the music in this way for all you music babes listening.

- Also in this week’s episode I covered some Red Rocks cancellations/ postponed for 2022 - as well as shows that are still scheduled for May 2021.

- Shows happening this month at The Black Box in Denver.

- Playlist Updates: Kickback Friday Rotation, Sweat Crew, & Vibin’ High

- Kid Cudi in 2021

- & a very special moment for Mac Miller.  I was reading an article about Mac the other night and watching some of his old YouTube videos and felt really inspired to talk about him on the pod today and share a little about his story.  Rest Ez Sweet Mac <3

* Track Recs: " You've Done Enough" Gorgon City, DRAMA, Purple Prince Remix

Welcome back music babes!  Before we dive into the episode today I wanted to take a moment to talk about some things I've had stuck in my mind - mainly when it comes to the energy that has been living online this past year.  My wishes are for the human collective to start respecting each other's choices as individual's and to stop telling everyone else how to live! AND most importantly to stop telling each other what to do with each other's bodies.  I always believe in our rights as humans and our rights to choose what is best for us as I N D I V I D U A L S.

In today’s episode we dive into Spotify Wrapped 2020.  I share some feelings on why I love seeing everyone share their spotify wrapped, as well as calling out the people who love to talk shit on anything that doesn’t interest them.  Please stop putting low vibrational energy into this world, there is truly enough of it already.  Also, if you don’t care about something, then why put energy into talking about something “you don’t care about”? Lol, I think that actually just means you do care a little. ;)
