It’s the final part this week and it’s the ‘Hall of Fame’. This week its John’s turn to induct and he’s chosen founder of Chess Records, Leonard Chess. You might not have heard of him, but owning a label featuring Bo Diddley, Chuck Berry, Muddy Waters, Howlin’ Wolf, Etta James, Fontella Bass and Rotary Connection, there is a very good chance you will know the music he helped produce. Part 2 this week and it’s birthday time. This week Joseph celebrates the birthday of singer, actor and activist Harry Belafonte. John makes this section a 2 for 1 deal with the birthdays of one of Scotland’s greatest national exports, The Proclaimers. And yes he does talk about being Scottish.

After a well earned break, we are back with Ep 37. Part 1 is our top of the show, looking at this weeks music news. Festivals being held/postponed, Alice Cooper giving off old man vibes and a Scottish success in the album charts are all covered. As always we give you some music tips from some of the new things we’ve found this week, the wrapping things up with a new form of gambling with the early music of Calvin Harris.
