  • Discover A New Musical with Tom Swimm (The Hanging of Mary Surratt)

In 1865, Mary Surratt became the first woman hanged by the United States government. Was she capable of aiding in the murder of a president? Was her conviction a rational legal process, or the result of deception brought on by a public hungry for revenge?

The events of her life are dramatized in a surreal montage of sight and sound that questions her role in the Lincoln conspiracy and her relationship with John Wilkes Booth.

  • Discover A New Musical with Taran Gray and Richard Allen (Freedom Riders The Civil Rights Musical)

Freedom Riders: The Civil Rights Musical dramatizes the story of the 1961 Freedom Rides — a series of integrated bus rides through the American South designed to test and defy segregation laws. Facing violent mobs, unjust arrests, and a federal government slow to intervene, these college-age activists changed the course of American history through nonviolent protest and unwavering resolve. With a dynamic original score that blends gospel, folk, and contemporary musical theatre, the show elevates both the pain and the power of that moment — making it essential viewing for audiences today.

  • Discover A New Musical with Michael Levin (Sober Songs A Musical)

Set in the basement of a Brooklyn church, SOBER SONGS is a darkly comedic musical that follows six young adults in recovery at a local AA meeting founded by the gruff but loving “Cap.” Blending biting humor, emotional ballads, and sharp dialogue, the show evolves from light and charming to deeply emotional, offering a raw, character-driven, and emotionally authentic look at addiction, love, identity, and the complicated, messy road to sobriety. With heart, heartbreak, and cathartic honesty, SOBER SONGS offers a deeply human—and at times hilarious—glimpse into recovery culture.

  • Be Our Guest with Lalit Sritara and Taylor Wendell Lozano

Lalit Sritara is the first Thai wordsperson in the NYU Tisch Graduate Musical Theatre Writing Program and a recipient of the Horace W. Goldsmith Fellowship, the Summer Song Theater Festival Artist Development Grant, the TYA/USA Festival and Conference Access for All Support Grant and the Maestra Musical Writers Festival Scholarship.

Born in Bangkok, emotionally raised by musicals and softly indoctrinated in England, she writes songs that turn real life into musical theatre (because it should be), made for whimsical souls with too many feelings who need to giggle through the mess. She has a soft spot for psychological adventures.

She and Taylor Wendell Lozano recently released "Feral," a theatre-pop song sung by a princess and a feral creature. Based on a true story, the song is full of chaos, cheekiness and unresolved trust issues. Is it about a man-child or an actual animal? You decide! The song has been added to Musical Theatre Radio's rotation and featured on Earmilk. You can find this and her other works on Instagram, YouTube and Spotify. 🙂

Her works have been featured at the New York Public Library for the Performing Arts, MTF Summer Roundtable Concert (Musical Theatre Factory), the Cutting Room, the Musical Writers Festival, the Summer Song Theater Festival, Songwriters Night in NYC (Society of Composers & Lyricists), Ourboroughs (ACN NYC), Bangkok Theatre Festival, Bangkok Design Week, Samyan Mitrtown, TIMELINE the Musical, BANGKOKIAN: A Concept Musical (FahFun Production), BREAKOUT: a Family Drama Zoomsical (New Musicals Inc) and more. She co-wrote the book for a Rachadalai musical, Thailand’s largest theatrical production company, and wrote lyrics for an LA-based musical film, a semi-finalist in Sundance’s Development Track.

Taylor Wendell Lozano is an actor, composer, playwright, and lyricist based in Jersey City, New Jersey invested in bringing science fiction into staged theatrical spaces while unconventional family dynamics and mental health issues. Taylor holds a BA in Theatre Arts from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo and an MFA in Musical Theater Composition from NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts Graduate Musical Theatre Playwriting Program. He is also a trained singer, has been in over 40 staged plays and musicals, and has both stage managed and designed throughout his career. From his teens to late 20s, Taylor was heavily involved in community theater in his hometown of Bakersfield, CA. It was there he practiced standup, which led to his original one man comedy show, “Taylor Lozano Showcases His Self.”

In 2023, Taylor was a winner of the KCATCF Region VIII 10 minute playwriting competition for his one act, "Horizons."  His musical, "Andy, the Creator" was mounted by his classmates at the Cal Poly Theatre and Dance department in May of 2023, and has a staged development at the Empty Space Theatre in Bakersfield, CA, slated for August of this year.

In February 2024, a puppetry one act (co-written by Tia Deshazor and Susan Li, with music by Taylor), was presented at the African Grove Theatre in Manhattan, New York, as was a standalone musical piece “Gravity” (book and lyrics by Maiga Vidal) was also presented a year later. His one act musical, "The Giant Child,"  was performed at Frigid Theatre NYC in October. In April of 2025, he was involved as a composer for the piece, “Can You Let Go?” at Montclair State as a part of Opera On Tap (with Harrison Lee as Lyricist), in collaboration with the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU Tisch. Selections from Taylor’s original score for "Humanity the Musical", was featured at the Cutting Room in Manhattan, New York in May 2025, with a table reading of the show in the same month. His original albums, "Let's Be Human" and "Doody on the Dance Floor" can be found on Spotify and Apple Music.

  • Be Our Guest with Dr. Jon C. Bruschke Phd (Theatre History and Mysteries - Podcast)

Jon Bruschke is a former college debate coach turned musical theatre obsessive. What makes his perspective unique is how he approaches a show, like a debate topic.Every week for over a decade, Jon had to prep 150–200 page files analyzing complex political, legal, and economic issues from every angle, then coach students to defend or refute them in high-stakes national tournaments. Now, he’s applying that same analytical rigor to musicals. He covers topics like: Unpacking the French Revolution in Les MisérablesTracing the roots of Cats back to T.S. Eliot and post-war surrealismComparing Chicago to real legal publicity casesExamining the Cold War backdrop of Chess through the lens of the Nixon–JFK debatesJon’s approach goes deep, blending history, politics, pop culture, and production backstories. It’s like listening to a theatre professor and a political analyst in the same conversation, except it's all in plain English and 100% enthusiastic. musicals we all love.
