The council election is just around the corner , it is scheduled on the 4th of December and it is an interesting one for teh Canterbury Bankstown Council because The City of Canterbury Bankstown which was formed on 12 May 2016 is a home to over 350,000 residents, making it the most populous Council in NSW.

As part of 2MFM’s coverage of the 2021 local elections I had the pleasure to welcome to the 2MFM studios Bankstown Ward Labor incumbent councillor Bilal Hayek who is contesting this year's election for the second time.
