We're back! And we're diving deep into the new record from Doug's other band Young At Heart. Along with our friend Aric, we talk about this miraculous 5 song ep and what it means to be truly straight edge.

This week THE Kid Solus himself, James Anderson, comes on to talk about a project that has been related to us since the start of the covid. Created during Noise Brigade's biggest break, we dive into the start of the whole thing, the process of writing/recording and all the lore that James conceived while working on this musical endeavor.

We have the pleasure with speaking to our good friend Andrew from the band Wired For Havoc. What was suppose to be just another local band hoping onto one of our random tour stops, this Utah based band quickly became some of our best friends. Andrew guides us through the bands beginning from his start in high school, to getting signed to our past label, and the many problems that bands of our size face while running on fumes.

Probably one of the most underrated local bands to ever grace the Alaska music scene, our homie Kyle comes on to talk about his band Thrown Away Thoughts.  Homegrown shredders and progressive rock rockers, there wasn't a show poster anywhere in Anchorage or the Matsu that didn't have their name on it and today we get to hear their story.

Today we have our good friend Bryan Calhoon coming on to discuss the rise and fall of his band Divides. A staple in the Alaska music scene for only just a short period of time, but the amount of things they were able to accomplish is nothing short of awesome.  From moving out of state, opening for national bands and even performing on the main stage on the Vans Warped tour, the 4 years of the band's exsistence were filled with the highest of highs and, unfortunately, the lowest of lows.

Season 2 is here! We're starting to explore our friends experiences around the same time as Noise Brigade so let's begin by going all the way back to Nathan's high school band with our friend Bobby! We dive into the mental fortitude, teenage angst and just being so young and dumb trying to get your foot off the ground playing in a local band in high school.
