We discuss the award-winning film "Joker".   Why is it the things that went extremely well with this movie were able to eclipse the things that were extremely problematic in the movie.  There is a subtle nod to right-wing grievance politics and visuals that remind us that no inner-city streetscape is complete without a roving gang of Black and Brown kids. For fans of Alan Moore, HBO's Watchmen may not be follow up to they hoping for or protested against.  Much better than expected but, not a comfortable fit into the Watchmen universe.  (such as it is).Disclaimer:  Please accept our apology for much of the sound quality of this episode.  We will do better in future installments.
