Muteki

Hi everybody ! No MUTEKI Live on air on FM this week. Instead, we invite you to listen to a Mix, with a mainly Northern flavor today. Let's head to a region called TÔHÔKU, saddly put under the spotlights for its terrible 2011 earthquake. However, reducing that part of Japan to the tragedy on its eastern coast is unfair, as the landscapes are stunning, the culture and dialects are proudly preserved... In a few words, this region located between Tôkyô and Hokkaidô is worth the travel, and its singers and composers have largely contributed to the country's Pop Culture, especially when it comes to animes. Have a nice listening !!

On the playlist, anime songs take the lion's share today, however, LEO takes us to one of the main traditions of the french conventions: the song contest.

Hi everybody ! MUTEKI is gonna be back next saturday, Live on air in the studio ! This week and for the last time, ket's listen to a Mix. After Tôkyô, Ôsaka, Kyûshû, Okinawa and Hokkaidô, we go on traveling: We forget that point very often but Japan is made of numerous islands, out of which 4 are considered "main isles". However, most of the time, the smallest of these big four, SHIKOKU, is forgotten, and that's a pity ! Less crowded and lacking a Shinkansen station, this land is, however, worth the visit, with its stunning natural landscapes, its evergreen japanese mood, and as many musicians were born on it, Shikoku could as well fit in some touristic guides, especially for fans of animes and video games, Castlevania and Final Fantasy among others. From Nobuo Uematsu to Angela Aki including Ryôko Hirosue and Nana Mizuki, let's take a ride across this not-enough-famous island. Have a nice listening !!

And to finish, we have a song by Kokia, whose sweet voice has been invited to sing for an anime about... Football ! Have a nice listening !!

Yesterday, Tôkyô was under the spotlights for a playlist paying tribute to the capital. But Japan is way more than Tôkyô !! So let's get to the region called Kansai, with a Mix specifically centered on Ôsaka. The rule of this playlist is: one song ABOUT Ôsaka (from an anime setting up in the city, for example) followed by a track sung by an artist COMING FROM Ôsaka. And the two topic can also merge, like NMB48 singing "Love in Namba", one of the town's iconic districts. Have a nice listening and a nice trip !
