This episode is with barrel horse trainer, Jennifer Sharp. At the time of the recording of this episode, Jennifer is in the highly coveted position of #1 in the WPRA Professional Rodeo World Standings. She’s been collecting checks all over the place in 2019 including a big win at the National Western Stockshow and Rodeo in Denver, CO. and second in Odessa, TX and Fort Worth. She’s been crushing it lately and consequently she’s put herself in a great position to qualify for some big rodeos like Calgary and possibly even a bid to the NFR. She’s a South Texas cowgirl and has grown up around us so we’ve been able to follow her career for a while now. In 2009 she married her husband, best friend, and the other half of Sharp Performance Horses, Robbie Sharp. He’s been monumentally influential in her career and success over the last decade. We discuss his role in her life, about her whirlwind season, as well as many other things on this episode. Hope you enjoy it!
