Hey Y’all!

This episode of the podcast was with professional barrel racer, Shali Lord. Shali qualified for the NFR in 2005 on one of the great horses in barrel racing, Slider. Now, 14 years and 2 children later, this Colorado based cowgirl is sitting in the top 10 in the world with over $44k won so far this year in just 13 rodeos. She’s positioned herself and her main mount, the amazing stallion Freckles Ta Fame aka Can Man, for a great summer and another shot at trip to the Thomas and Mack in December. Shali’s kids are the same ages as our kids and we know all too well that this is a massive achievement already. She’s a great cowgirl with a strong team made up of her entire family. We discuss her team, her horses, and her plans for the summer in this conversation. We’ve always been a fan of Shali and her family. We will certainly be cheering her on from down here in Texas as she hopefully has a great summer to add to her already outstanding season!
