My Parents taught me nothing about finances as long as my mother had money to buy drink it didn't matter who paid....This podcast is a story about my determination to earn money and get out......

I get it - overeating - eating the wrong foods - the mental struggle with "you are fat" so why bother - My mother always used to open up with my god how fat have you got....This is my struggle with weight 

No not the TV show - How many phrases have you been taught and continue to use?

Example: "shut the door where you born in a barn."

If you are taught negative Words / Phrases, have you ever thought about the impact on a young child..........  

I have written down over 100 which my parents ingrained into my psyche, which was wrong and gave me a dark impression of the world. 

I have been asked various questions from the series such as emotions, children (you never answered the question), Really? was it that bad? 

This is a selection and I answer some of the questions in the best way possible.

Just some of the questions I have been asked over the years ....BUT what people don't know is I tried and this is the story behind heartache that followed.....  I real tough one to speak on this subject  

Alcohol comes first - that is what happened in my parents household - so what are the effects when it comes to schooling and the effects this has on a child - A few stories of my parents attitude towards money and how much is costs to raise a child.

Someone asked why my podcasts have little emotion when telling my story.... A very good question... But how would you feel if you had your emotions (feeling) shut down from an early age .... This is my explanation. 

So how do you deal with an Alcoholic?  This is a very good question.  Here are just some of my tips on how I dealt with my mother but I am sure more will come out in future podcasts!

One of the very few people that has supported me through-out has agreed to express her views on my mother / her family and her opinion on why this happened.
