It's hard to remember sometimes there's always two sides to everything. Yes most things that is. I work hard at really seeing that in everything. So unless you make a choice to go through life crabby, this is a must.
Yes the fine art of asking, it's really simple for some, but for others, it's terrifying. "Oh my lord asking for something? What if the answers no?" What if the answer is yes. Guess that's really what it comes down to a person who leaves by the motto what if. At no point should we be afraid of the word no. As the old saying goes if you don't ask, you don't get.
well that's an easy answer, everyone. I've noticed a lack of it and it made me think is it real, does it still or has it ever existed? I like to think so, at least for me. Humanity is simple, it's free, you can practice it everywhere and anytime, so why have we started to have it fade in so many?
Fear is something we all have in common, the difference is some live in it some frozen by it, some are motivated by it and some create it in others. I know that it serves a purpose also, it keeps us safe, it reminds us to stay out of trouble by what can happen. It can and is part of the human experience.
Its easy for us to think about the past in a way that features only the best parts, like a memory editing machine. However sometimes it stops us from the reality of why we moved on or what it was really like.
Funny how we forget the bad parts of the past and remember only the good parts, or maybe we selectively disregard those parts and pretend they ever existed. I call that selective memory but in some cases dealing with addiction recovery they are called Euphoric Recall.
Well its really about some of things we all hate and how it's easy to fall victim to joining the haters these days. But when we really look deep into why people hate things its simple, sometimes it's fear or misunderstanding things or just using the word hate without understanding what that word really means.
Having friends is amazing and sometimes we can lose contact with some of the people we meet along the way, then again we can also maintain friendships that last for decades maybe even a lifetime. I've been thinking about that and how friends can bring so much love and joy in our life and how some friends can also be a pain in the ass.
Vacations are a requirement by all means. Since we just spent 10 wonderful days traveling around down south. We drove around 1500 miles, visited old friends, went to some new places and all in all had a great trip
As I get older, I have new questions, I've always had questions and of late this is one of the new ones. What was left behind? Is there something were suppose to be doing were not or a secret meaning to this amazing opportunity called our life?
