In this episode of "My Bible Thoughts" podcast, Pastor Rich delves into the story of a paralyzed man in the city of Lystra. But Paul saw the faith in the man's eyes and without hesitation, shouted out "Stand up on your feet!" To everyone's amazement, the man stood up and began to walk for the first time in his life. This miraculous healing caused the pagans in the crowd to mistake Paul and Barnabas as gods and they began to worship them.

  • Triumphant in Trial: A Study of Acts 14:1-7

In this episode of "My Bible Thoughts with Pastor Rich," the focus is on the passage found in Acts 14:1-7, which tells the story of Paul and Barnabas, two of the earliest Christian missionaries, as they traveled to Iconium in present-day Turkey to spread the gospel. Despite facing opposition and persecution, they remained faithful to their mission and were able to convert a large number of people, both Jews and Greeks. However, their efforts also caused division among the people of the city, with some siding with the Jews and others with the apostles. When an attempt was made to stone them, they fled to nearby cities and continued to preach the gospel. This passage serves as a reminder that evangelism is not always easy, but it is worth persevering through the challenges because the reward for spreading the gospel will be great in the end. The episode also touches on the importance of sharing one's testimony with others and the early church's strategy for evangelism and establishing churches.

  • Episode #31- RELIGION HATES THE GOSPEL MESSAGE - Acts 13:44-52

Today's episode features my thoughts on Acts chapter 13:44-52 followed by a time of prayer.

My main point today is that religion opposes the gospel message. Israel was supposed to be the light to other nations surrounding it, but now God goes directly to the gentiles surpassing them.

Today's episode features my thoughts on Acts chapter 12:10-24 followed by a time of prayer.

God is the maker of kings, and he took this king out. Worms ate him. Josephus documented this account. It took 5 days for him to die.

Acts documents the progression of the church. The work of God is moving forward. Nobody can stop it and it is foolish to try to do so.

Today's episode features my thoughts on Acts chapter 12:1-9 followed by a time of prayer.

An angel comes and a light shone in the prison and struck him on the side and rose him up. That’s quite a way to startle someone to be awake.

Peter has to be told instruction by instruction on how to get out of prison.  The Bible tells us that Peter thought he was dreaming.
