In this episode, Kiki (Kiana) Wooten recalls the amazing testimonies (I repeat, testimonies!) of her traumatic journey starting at age 34 from her initial mammogram, then ultrasound, followed by her shocking breast cancer diagnosis in October 2019. Things got much worse from her first surgery, then subsequent multiple emergency surgeries, sepsis two different times, chemo and hormone therapy! My goodness! Many thoughts Kiki brought up really resonated with me, including her words “Close your eyes and breathe. Know that you are NOT alone” and “Even in the craziest of times and the darkest storm, light still rises”. This episode with Tiffany was so incredibly motivational and so real, at the same time! Thank you so very much for sharing your amazing testimony of your journey, sis! Tiffany shared her testimony about navigating her diagnosis with breast cancer at such a young age (of 39), just 2 weeks after her husband’s brain tumor diagnosis. Tiffany shared her testimony of the Lord carrying her throughout every part of her journey, while also taking care of her husband. Tiffany remained adamant about taking care of her husband first, before she started her own treatment plan. She talks about her process of coming to terms with the diagnoses, treatment plans, her husband’s treatment and passing and embracing her new normal, as a living proof of our God’s faithfulness. Tiffany also shares excellent tips about being in the present, remaining thankful about every opportunity and self-care. My goodness, Tiffany, your story really so continues to inspire me! This episode features an amazing discussion with my dear pink sister, Michelle Miller. Michelle is such an amazing source of inspiration to me and I’m sure to thousands of breast cancer warriors. Oh wow! I was blown away by Michelle’s recount of her journey, from diagnosis, to every single part of her treatment journey for the Stage 4 breast cancer she was diagnosed with. Michelle kept dropping her incredible knowledge and tips about different strategies for thriving through the treatment plans she was offered. Her closing words “hold on because your story is NOT done yet and there’s still more to come!” still continues to resonate so deeply with me.

Pixey is a breast cancer advocate, and such a wonderful aesthetic flat closure advocate and I had reached out to her on social media about her sharing her story. My goodness! My goodness, what an extraordinary privilege I have of getting to know and be inspired by Paris’ testimony!
