I had the amazing pleasure of meeting our guests today, Allanda Christenson and Shakisha Davis through Tiger Lily Foundation’s ANGEL Advocacy training throughout the month of June 2022. We were in the same ANGEL Advocate Cohort 10 and it’s been a true blessing getting to know them. I’m especially grateful to have them share their breast cancer journeys today.

I got to meet Kim during my radiation treatments. She was and still is an amazing source of encouragement and inspiration every day of radiation, as we navigate this journey together

Today, October 1st 2022 is the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness Month this year. I am deeply grateful to God for allowing me to cross paths with Isabella Milan by reaching out to American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Reach to Recovery program. Isabella was the very first peer-to-peer ACS mentor I had reached out to at the beginning of my breast cancer journey. Isabella is our amazing guest on Extraordinary-in-pink Podcast today
