Pastor Tyus shares how looking for God can bring out the greatness in each day and the importance of not carrying yesterday's troubles into today. That last part isn't easy but remember that God tells us each day has concerns enough for that day, and with that information, we should be able to focus and deal with the problems of that day on that day. Part of being available to God is recognizing that pain and suffering may come. Sunny days give way to rainy, muddy days. Knowing that and accepting that is part of the cost of being a follower of Jesus Christ. 

3:15 - "Believe in the dark what God told you in the light." Remember the promises and instructions God shared with you when times of your life were great. Those promises serve to light the way ahead when times get hard. 

5:30 - John 13:34-35. "A new commandment I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this, everyone will know that you are my disciples if you love one another." Love is a verb, an action word. Show it with words and actions. Even towards an enemy.   John 14:15  "If you love me, keep my commandments." 

12:40 - "Sometimes, how you live speaks louder than what you say." 

15:40 - "You have to go through something for God to bring something through you." 

17:43 - 1 Peter 5:10 is a great reassurance to keep pushing through what you may be suffering from in your life's journey. Keep the faith! For God will restore you and will place you on a firm foundation. When we suffer, that's an opportunity for growth. Whether through lessons or instruction, God is always teaching. Our posture should be one of always learning or being willing to learn something new about our walk with the Father. 

21:45 - Matthew 5:44-48 Loving an enemy, praying for them is maybe the most challenging thing we'll have to learn to do. If we want to be like Christ, we'll have to make that our goal.
