My guest today is Terry O'Reilly! He is a retired  "mad man" in the world of marketing and advertising. Starting from humble beginnings in his home town of Sudbury, ON, Terry and a partner established a very successful advertising agency called "Pirate".
Terry will pull the curtain back on many aspects of an industry to which we are exposed an average of 7,000 times per day. He'll explain what he did as a copy writer, the importance of signage, the difference between a good and a not-so-good advertisement, how humour in an advertisement might be amusing to some but not necessarily to everyone, how some actors have made a career out of appearing in commercials, how slogans and jingles are created and some advertisements you'll recognize having Terry's finger prints all over them plus stories that will fascinate you.
