My Dad & Me & The SEC

It's here! We have officially bid adieu to football and it's basketball time in the SEC. This season on the show, we plan to discuss hoops by picking a handful of men's and women's games each week to preview. On the men's side, we get into Bruce Pearl's tenth Tiger squad hosting LSU, Kentucky's second road test and Georgia's attempt to go for 11 straight wins. For the women, it's LSU, A&M and of course the Gamecocks. Several matchups on the line that could be pivotal come March. Football season, you were good to us. This week on the show, we discuss all the SEC bowl games, from huge triumphs like Mizzou and Ole Miss to tough losses like the Cats. Alabama fought hard and also not hard against Michigan, and for the first time in the CFP era Greg Sankey won't be making the trip. We begin to talk about what transfers mean for the league next season, but it's still too early, and we've got league basketball to talk about!

Everyone still with us after last week's chaos? This week we have a LOT to talk about, from the coaching changes and near changes to rivalry week wins. We've reached the point of the season where seats are hot and buyouts are being paid. The Brewer parents made it back from a triumphant weekend in Starkville and the road doesn't get any easier for BBN. It was another tough weekend to be a Kentucky fan, but the Dogs grabbed another Cocktail Party win and A&M made Dad eat his words. This week we discuss CFP Rankings and how much wiggle room conference and non-con teams have in the standings. Baton Rouge is celebrating Bama Hate Week, and the Brewer parents are heading to the Magnolia State to cheer on the Cats and visit with some of the only people who do college football like we do.
