My Dad & Me & The SEC

Hard to believe we've reached the halfway point in the SEC Baseball season. Teams are coming into their true form, some to our surprise and some exactly like we predicted. We talk conference ball, duh, along with post-Four on the Floor thoughts (Trinity Thomas GOAT?) and transfer portal news. Our whole feeds are transfer portal news.

There's two new champions in town, and one of 'em is rocking purple and gold. We talk about the late rounds of the NCAA tournaments, including UConn's Blue Blood resume and how Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese are changing the game in women's basketball. Dad's in Dallas, not *for* the NCAA Gym Elite Eight, but hyped for Kentucky's appearance nonetheless. SEC Baseball talk, beef with the conference's own Masters representative and more on this week's episode.

Not that anyone's surprised, but the SEC leads all conferences with seven teams in the two tournaments and we've got seven matchups to talk about. This week we get into the highs and lows of the first two rounds of the NCAA Tournaments and of course all the side stories that make it even better. We're looking at you, Nick Saban and Rick Pitino. A little early SEC baseball talk and more this week as we dream of warmer weather and Alex Box Saturdays.

What better way to celebrate Jeremy's 50th birthday than a week chock-full of sports!? We've got bracket previews, coaching thoughts, Kentucky Sweet 16 chatter and more on this week's episode. It's a busy week and we fit as much of it as we can into about 40 minutes.

It's tournament time in Big Blue Nashville! We get into all the quarterfinal matchups before tipoff at Bridgestone, plus talk about the crazy games that got teams to Day 3. It gets tangential talking about some sketchy ethical moves by the league lately, but we get back on track to look at one of the SEC Football rotation options with our new friends Oklahoma and Texas.

There's blue and yellow confetti to be had this week in Greenville for the SEC Women's Tournament. Kentucky is the 14-seed after winning it all last season, but can they get past teams like South Carolina and LSU? We talk the final week of the men's regular season, and try to figure out how the SEC seeds in gymnastics. If you understand how they do it let us know.

On a special Black History Month episode of the show, Courtney chats with Aja Sims-Fletcher, former Alabama gymnast and head coach of the Talladega College Tornadoes. Next season, Talladega will be the second HBCU to compete gymnastics in an effort spearheaded by @browngirlsdogymnastics. We talk about how black women are at the forefront of the college gymnastics world, not just with their personalities but their scores. If you want to support the Tornadoes, go follow @talladegagymnastics or email [email protected]

New week, same old conference chaos. Kentucky is on the right side of the bubble, but the top of the conference is in flux. We play out some postseason scenarios and talk about our new neighbors in Texas and Oklahoma. What non-football sport will benefit most from the new additions, and how the heck are we gonna divide up the teams?

SEC fans have two Super Bowls this weekend - the one on Fox and the one at Colonial Life Arena. This week we recap our trip to Florida and get into a busy weekend of sports, including the game of the year in SEC Women's. We discuss the implementation of a mercy rule in SEC Baseball, with the season just a few weeks away, and give our take on the story that's got BBN up in arms.

The Challenge lived up to its name, with SEC teams falling 7-3 in the last installation of the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. We discuss how each team moves on from a tough weekend with limited time left in the regular season. A little taste of conference women's hoops with a stacked weekend ahead, and a big helping of insider baseball as we get ready to head to Orlando for the National High School Dance Team Competition. Jeremy gives the 411 on ESPN's Wide World of Sports in this week's episode.
