Lois Alston is an Instructional Technology Coach for the Long Branch School District in Long Branch, NJ. She completed her 5th year in this role and she has been in education for 20 years. She is passionate about implementing a variety of EdTech platforms to improve/enhance her colleague's instruction and add value to their students' learning. As a lifelong learner, she’s always looking for ways to keep students engaged with the material at hand to help prepare them for the future.  Lois has two school-aged children who keep her very busy. She loves spending time with them and going to all of their activities. Her partner, Alex, is her biggest supporter in life and they love collaborating with one another on technology and design.

Zach Rondot is a passionate fourth-grade teacher in Troy, Michigan. His mission is to teach students the 21st-century skills, mindsets, and attributes that will help them succeed long after they leave his classroom.  In 2019, Zach was named the Troy School District Elementary Teacher of the Year and the Oakland County Elementary Teacher of the Year.  Zach is an instructor in the Master’s program of Learning, Design, and Technology at Central Michigan University. He utilizes technology to create learning opportunities that otherwise would not be possible.   Grayson McKinney is a fifth-grade teacher from Michigan and a leader in the area of innovative teaching and learning. He has worked with learners at all levels of school from K-6 as a teacher, technology facilitator, and program administrator. He is a student podcaster, educational writer, and speaker on the topic of 21st-century student learning and engagement.

Roxi Thompson currently serves as an EdTech Coach for the Washington Elementary School District in Glendale, Arizona. In this role, she focuses on working 1:1 with teachers to drive impactful technology use. Roxi spent the majority of her time this year supporting teachers in the district’s first “Distance Learning Program” for families who chose a full-time online learning environment for their students. Prior to this, she spent eight years teaching social studies at the elementary and middle school levels. Roxi is passionate about helping teachers use technology to create powerful learning experiences for students.

Chad Pettit is a high school English teacher, Army veteran, fiction author, and poet. He has a master’s degree in English with an emphasis on rhetoric and composition. As a father and teacher, he has witnessed his children and students suffer from the anxiety of high-stakes, standardized testing for far too long. Chad believes that not only are these tests inequitable and biased, they are inaccurate measures of student growth. Even worse, the current state of education is driving our best teachers away while pushing students through a system that rewards failure and mediocracy. Chad’s mission is to reclaim education on behalf of teachers and students for the sake of our future.
