Call to me and I will answer you, and will tell you great and hidden things that you have not known - Jeremiah 33:3, This is a great Promise, however, God only promises to answer our prayers when we ask according to His will. If you want answers you should first ask the right questions.

Jesus was tired of the way and rested by the well of jacob. We need to learn to rest by the well. Jesus meets a Samaritan woman. Her encounter with Jesus is the longest between the Messiah and any other individual in the Gospel of John. Jesus Revealed Himself as God at the well!

In Song of Solomon 4 says, "1 Behold, you are beautiful, my love 15 a garden fountain, a well of living water, and flowing streams from Lebanon." "A well of living waters": she is like a fountain of living or running water, which flows into gardens, and makes its flowers and plants to flourish. The church conveys those waters of life, which she receives from Christ, to particular believers.

Jacob meets Rachel near Haran. The well is a meeting place. Jacob’s mother Rebekah met with Abram’s servant at a well (Gen. 24:15), now Jacob meets Rachel at a well, and Moses will later meet Zipporah at a well (Exod. 2:15).

Abraham paid the price of seven ewe lambs to secure ownership of a well at Beersheba. beʾer“well”; shevaʿ“oath,” or “seven”. Abraham, Hagar, Jacob, and Elijah all experienced life-changing encounters with God in association with Beersheba (Genesis 16:8; 21:17; 46:3-4; 1 Kings 19:3). God’s promises to Jacob at Beersheba were powerful. God wants to make promises to you also !

Rehoboth was a named because it had wide open spaces. This is the third well dug by Isaac. The first 2 caused fight and contention but this one was different. Water is essential to life. Without it, we will die. One time, Jesus compared His doctrine to water. He stopped at Jacob’s well at about noon time. The Lord was tired and thirsty. Along came a Samaritan woman, and He asked for her to draw water from the well for Him to drink. when God says, “I am the spring of living water” (Jer2:13) He is also saying, “I am the Source of Life. And in Me all the unseen resources of Heaven are there to back you up.”
