It's episode 19 of MEC and this week we have Dylan back to grace us with his presence. Dylan's planned trip to the DMV takes an unexpected, existential turn into philosophy experiments that hurt Madison's brain. Madison's childhood haunts her again as she explains all the things she wasn't taught in Christian school, like the marvel of tectonic plates. Dylan tells us about the YouTube channel "2020Vision" which successfully predicted celebrity deaths (but only if you're as gullible as Madison is). Madison grosses us out with the story of Tarrare, the man with an insatiable appetite and a very bizarre diet.

While Meredith is the victim of the murder, it's Amanda Knox's name that has been most attributed to this case. We discuss the perils of the judicial system that convicted them along with the misogyny in the media which muddied up this entire case. Meredith's killer has already been released and was convicted of a much less serious offense than those who were innocent.

This conversation was triggered not just by a lifetime of being women and having women in our lives, but from the recent Missouri lawmaker who defended his stance that 12-year-olds should be allowed to get married.
