Faithfulness is the central theme of this message. Yet, faithfulness is a characteristic that needs development. Brother Singh emphasizes that everything we do should comply with divine principles—everything from personal hygiene habits to punctuality—are essential building blocks to faithfulness, for we serve a mighty King. Undisciplined individuals cannot become overcomers, though we aspire to be a prince in God's kingdom.

The calling of God on a minister's life defies human logic. Our heavenly Father does not want His servants contaminated by apostate doctrines or vain philosophy.

Suppose God calls a man educated in a particular religious tradition (as was the Apostle Paul). God must 'undo' that education and training before He can use him to minister to His elect. Hence, after his initial conversion, Paul spent about fourteen years working as a tent maker, being deprogrammed from Pharisee traditions before starting his ministry.

Brothers Joe & John combine to encourage the saints regarding change. Watering Wednesday's lesson, THE ELECT LADY, they contrast two Biblical examples of God's elect changing from what they were to what God desires them to be: Hannah and Nebuchadnezzar. The church is our school room, where "heirs (differ nothing from servants), though lords of all, train under tutors and governors until the time appointed of their Father." (Galatians 4:1-2).

Profound change occurs when God motivates it. Peer pressure and imposed rules may cause us to conform, but it is only an outward modification. Permanent change happens when God convicts our spirits to yield to His will. Brother Singh's arrival in America vividly illustrates this reality. The Holy Spirit nudged him to change his appearance to blend with a Christian standard. Indeed, God instigated his whole transformation from denominational Christianity to the Body of Christ, not the coercion of men. Authentic Christianity is realized beyond the sanctuary after we leave the church door.

Our Assembly welcomed back these faithful men of God to encourage us. Continuing with yesterday's theme of affliction, Britger Richard showed us that affliction is the mirror in which we see our true selves before the Lord. God's love is so great he will not allow His elect to be undisciplined. King David's insight becomes our own: "Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Thou art good, and doest good; teach me thy statutes." (Ps. 119:67-68) 

Brother Githinjii stated, "Nobody likes affliction, but the pressure of trials causes us to submit to the Father's will. God's will is that the elect, "Seek first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; then all that we need shall be added unto you."

God blessed our Mississauga Assembly with two remarkable men of God who share their testimonies with us. Brother GITHINJII pastors the church in Ellington, Connecticut. Brother Nairn RICHARD pastors Elmont, NY Assembly. A central theme of their addresses was Psalm 34:19: "Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues {delivers} him from them all" (AMP).

We live in perilous times. Our faith is tested as never before, but "Whosoever heareth these sayings {teachings and instructions} of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock." The storms of life will batter us, but our house shall stand because we have built our foundation on the Rock of Christ's truth and Spirit. 

It was a joy to have Brother Singh back in the Mississauga Assembly after his whirlwind trip to visit churches in Roselle, New Jersey, Westbury, and Elmont, New York. Despite medical advice against travel, the man of God felt it was necessary to visit these churches to "fortify their faith." We thank God he returned to us not only healthy but invigorated spiritually.

While speaking to the saints in Brother Richard's Assembly, Brother Singh explained his ministry was more prophetic than pastoral. By prophetic, he does not mean visions of the future, but instead, he exposes hypocrisy and weaknesses to help lead saints to light. Occasionally, his statements seem to contradict his fellow ministers. Probably, some are offended, but he has never had to apologize for anything the Lord led him to say from the pulpit. Ministers will not immediately accept some of his concepts, but he is confident that God will enlighten those men to see as he does in time.

Brother Singh did not expect to be in New York because he was under a medical doctor's orders to refrain from travel and strenuous activity. But the work of God must continue, and Brother Singh trusts God for the strength and endurance to fulfill his calling.

The Apostle Paul wrote two churches he did not start, Rome and Colosse. Despite the enthusiasm of a handful of saints living in Rome, saints cannot create a church! If God wants his church planted in a particular city, He will send His ministry to establish it. So Paul wrote to the saints in Rome, "I long to see you, that I may impart unto you some spiritual gift, to the end ye may be ESTABKUSGED" (Romans 1:11). 

Addressing the ministers and the saints in Brother Mondesir Maruis' Assembly, Roselle, New Jersey, Brother Singh stated: "The purpose of the church is to reveal how fallen our nature is and how great the need is for our change." We attend church in futility if we are not changing from our carnal nature, worldliness, and those behaviors contrary to God's plan.
