Sister Nadene highlighted our Saturday evening worship with an angelic rendition of "HE CHOSE ME" complementing Brother John's exhortation to stay the course: "He who began a good work in us will bring it to completion on the day of Jesus Christ." Brother Singh completed this spiritually refreshing evening with a report on the dedication of the new sanctuary in Vasai, India.

As we gather in our Mississauga sanctuary Wednesday evening, our thoughts and prayers are with the people suffering from the devastating fires in LA County, California. Brother Singh reminds us that scripture instructs us to pray for political leaders and that God will grant them the wisdom not to persecute the church or lead the country so far from God that it brings judgment on the land.

This world will never experience total peace until the Prince of Peace returns to establish God's Kingdom here on Earth.

God demands that order be maintained in his church. The vibrance of music, or the amount of noise made by saints, does not measure the greatness of a service. Instead, the effectiveness of a service is measured by the harmony in which it responds to what God desires. Today's music and Brother Sam's exhortation perfectly harmonized with Saturday evening's lesson, "When In The Valley."

Brother Singh spontaneously responded to Sister Nadine's heartening testimony tonight. He briefly traced his life's history from infancy to the approaching conclusion of his ministry. From birth until today, God's hand has directed his life, yet it has never been easy. Most saints do not realize the immense sacrifices our Pastor, his wife, Sister Chandry, and daughter, Sister Nadine, have made to preach the word of God.

Solomon wrote: "Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them" (Ecclesiastes 12:1).

We live in a period of history when God is judging the world. However, modern media depicting disasters has made our minds insensitive to reality. Our Pastor reminds us of how quickly society resumed normalcy after the 9-11 World Trade Center collapse. We have become calloused to the destruction reeked by God's judgment—viewing it as another show.

2024 will go down in history as a turbulent year, with many indicators that we are in the last days of the church age. Jesus described all these events as "the beginning of sorrows."

And while "nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places," the Body of Christ has nothing to fear IF we are walking in the truth. The danger, however, is to know the truth but live a lie.

Maturity causes us to think about things that will soon come to pass. We are conscious of all the matters we will leave undone as our allotted time runs out.

As the final hours of 2024 fade away, Brother Singh reminds us that time is one commodity we can never recover. Drawing from Brother John's exhortation, our Pastor urges us to redeem wisely the time granted to each of us in this life. "To everything, there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant and pluck up what is planted. (Ecclesiastes 3:1-2)

A gentleman challenged Brother Singh online because he believed we should post a statement of faith.

This ministry does not aim to present a gospel that pleases everyone. Jesus said, "Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, FEW there be that find it" (Matthew 7:14). Followers of this ministry know that unless God opens the eyes and ears of our understand-ing (Matthew 13:16) to receive truth, no amount of arguing the doctrine will convince a person.

The church gets excited by the same things that excite the world. When we yield ourselves to religious fantasies, for instance, placing Christmas trees in our homes or sanctuaries, it is no great leap to embrace false doctrine. "Because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. For this cause, GOD shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness." (2 Thessalonians 2:10-11)

The most controversial subject Brother Singh can post on Facebook is anything about the pagan origins of Christmas celebrations. These origins, often traced back to ancient Roman and Germanic traditions, have been assimilated into Christian celebrations. Of course, commercialism exploits imagery of "the baby Jesus" to milk profits from the gullible and kindhearted.
