An example given by Micheal loftin from Reason & Theology YouTube channel, that explains reduced subjective culpability. This example helps me understand experiences in my life that I couldn’t control, and leads me to consider if I was fully subjectively culpable for actions I commited of grave matter. At least there is healing in that sense.

Teaching priests’ the consequences of pedophilia caused upon victims could help with the limitations Bishops have in educating predophiles that their actions are wrong. Bishops limit their influence upon pedophile priests based on their subjective beliefs/assessment of what the pedophile will do in the future if the pedophile were taught by the bishop that pedophilia actions they perform is bad. A priest having reduced culpability & invincible ignorance could be the excuse Bishops give themselves to clear their own conscience if they choose NOT to tell the pedophile that it is wrong because it causes suicide of victims. Police, teachers and lay members of society have to teach the priests of the grave consequence of children committing suicide due to their abuse from the past. Because of the Bishops’ fear that the soul of the priest he is in charge of will go to hell by deliberately continuing the pedophilic action with full knowledge of its grave consequence, namely the suicide of victims, Bishops may not have the option to do catechesis/teaching themselves if they truly believe the pedophile will still formally act against this correction. Pope Francis was right in saying that pedophilia within the Church is caused by lack of catechesis/teaching, but many interpret his ambiguous comments as him referring to laymembers of the church when in fact he most likely is referring to the lack of teaching the pedophile gets with regards to the hierarchy keeping him in invincible ignorance of the knowledge that his actions will cause suicide of his child victims

Supernatural is not what you think! People in everyday speech when saying the word supernatural speak of it in terms of what we as Catholics have defined as SUPRA-natural. So there is first, natural, then secondly, supranatural & then finally supernatural. The SUPERnatural is only one, that is Divine nature, Creator. The other forms of nature, namely supranatural and natural, consist of what is meant by when we speak of creation, that is, what the Creator created, or in other words, that which need not exist.
