What if "home" isn't a place or a vocation, but a life you design on purpose?

My guest on this episode is Lisa, a longtime friend, and for her, home is designing her life.

It's easy to overlook how much goes into living the life you actually want. It means taking care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally, and then being present and available for the people and the things that matter most to you. Throughout her career, Lisa has worked toward exactly that, and she's built quite a cool home that lets her live the life she wants. We're all better for it.

I first snapped B-Boy Morris about 15 years ago, and he’s not just someone who’s deep in breaking culture—he’s been one of the best in the world for a long time, competing and winning at the highest level all around the globe. Breaking is one of the four foundational elements of hip-hop culture, alongside MCing, graffiti writing, and DJing, and it was great to sit down with Morris and talk about a culture that I’ve been close to for so many years. He shares some great stories about growing up, how he first found breaking, and the journey that eventually took him around the world, and I hope this conversation gives people who haven’t had much exposure to the culture a better look at what makes it so special.
