For this episode of Brewstilled, I’m joined by Portland Oregon based beer writer and podcaster Jeff Alworth. Jeff is the author of the Beer Bible and is a leading expert on beer. He’s also the writer of the blog Beervana. In this episode I talk with Jeff about a wide array of beer topics such as his start as a beer writer, podcaster, where craft beer is today and beer in general. We also discussed what maturity looks like for a city’s beer scene. The topic of beer as a whole is discussed as we as beer drinkers may need to see beer beyond the craft beer label.
