In this episode, we continue the conversation with Andrea Hooley. Andrea shares about how important family life is to her and how many of her most profound growth experiences have come from family and relationships as well as service to her community as a nurse, which she sees much more clearly through her time in the Peace Corps in Haiti and subsequent visits and immersion into a vastly different culture. Be sure to check out Part 1 first if you missed it!
Andrea Hooley is the mother of three daughters, a nurse, and a bonified weirdo. She lives with her family in Fort Collins, CO in the house she grew up in. Andrea is passionate about health equity and works to address Social Determinants of Health in the community. She loves to garden, learn about herbs, magic, and soil regeneration. Andrea also loves to dance her prayers with her local conscious dance community. She is currently studying nurse coaching to practice in lifestyle medicine in the future. Andrea's favorite book of all time is Jitterbug Perfume by Tom Robbins, and thus fantasizes about being seduced by the Greek God Pan in the forest.
