Its June and you know what that means, Midterms!! Its that time of the year again on My Little Underground where I bring out my big red pen and talk up some of the best music of the year so far! This week its all about the best singles and EPs six months into 2021. Listen to me talk up great singles including the new Lice (Aesop Rock & Homeboy Sandman) MF Doom tribute tune, Ask Anyone (I forgot to give the title in the episode) to the viral, anti-racism single from The Lindas Lindas. 2021 is shaping up to be another great year of EPs from the likes of former MLU guests, Lunarette, Sofia Kourtesis (I butchered her last name, sorry!!), Lord Wardd and Kero Kero Bonito putting out a daring 7 minute track (their songs rarely go beyond 3 minutes)! No more writing show notes in the third person, its weird. Happy listening! - Peter A.

This week on My Little Underground, Peter A discusses some great albums of 2011! This was a year of great comeback albums from veterans such as Foo Fighters, Pharoahe Monch and Beastie Boys; all whom have not released an album since four years prior in 2007. 2011 was also a year of rising stars as Kendrick Lamar began rising to rap stardom with Section.80 and Danny Brown becoming a dominate force in independent hip-hop with the critically acclaimed XXX album. Peter A also talks albums from Common, The Roots, The Black Keys, The Black Belles and more!
