Download Episode Today's guest is Lisa Savage, LCSW. Lisa Savage, LCSW is a licensed therapist in the state of Delaware. She has been in private practice since 1998. She owns one of the largest practices serving children and families in the state. She has developed a model of practice in schools that has been very successful in increasing access to quality mental health services. Recently, she has expanded her services to consult with other mental health professionals who are looking for ways to expand their practices and increase revenue. Lisa is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. Her focus of study was on health and mental health. Most of her career has been focused on the provision of quality health care to underserved and poor communities. She began her career in Philadelphia working in the community to provide direct service and education to people affected by HIV. Lisa is a strong proponent of 'taking services' to people in their communities. To that end, she began working in schools and other community settings. She has expanded her services to schools and opened the Center for the Child Development, which focuses solely on the provision of mental health services to children and families in the school setting. She owns and manages The Center for Adult Wellness and Counseling where the focus is on helping adults in areas such as anger control, stress management, emotional eating and marriage counseling.
