  • EJ Fry: The quiet is the foundation and the source of all the sound and activity.

    QUOTE of the Day:

The quiet is the foundation and the source of all the sound and activity. -EJ Fry

In this episode of “My Love of Life Energy” I am speaking EJ Fry. EJ Fry is an acupuncturist who I have known for many years. I have experienced the impact of his medicine; I value and wanted to share the depth of his listening and discernment. We discuss acupuncture as well as the ways in which deep listening and quieting the mind aids in healing and peace when we trust whatever life brings us as it unfolds.

EJ is a  licensed acupuncturist currently practicing in Oakland, California, focusing on the treatment of pain (especially migraine headaches), digestive issues, and emotional/spiritual issues. He holds a Master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health and Science in New York, and am nationally certified as a Diplomat of Oriental Medicine by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). His commitment to giving patients the best possible care led him to continue his studies in China with Dr. Wang Juyi and Dr. Yun Ku at Fuxing Hospital in Beijing.

He also went to China to study medicine as it's practiced in Daoist temples, specifically Jian Fu Gong in Sichuan province. He has been ordained a 23rd-generation Daoist priest in the Longmen lineage of Quanzhen.

In addition to his dedication to classical Chinese needling skills, he is particularly passionate about herbal medicine, and he makes it a top priority in treatments. He is currently teaching this subject to grad school students at ACCHS in Oakland.

His lifelong enthusiasm about Chinese cultural and religious studies rounds out his dedication to China’s medical traditions. His focus on Daoism (especially qigong), Chan (Zen) Buddhism, and Wuxing (Five Phase theory) is utilized in his treatments.

As a devoted practitioner of Buddhist meditation in the Zen lineage, he brings practice of mindfulness to acupuncture treatments, and encourage it as an adjunct therapy along with acupuncture and herbs.

  • Ana Ferrari: Happiness is easy to find when you look in the right place.

    QUOTE of the Day:

Happiness is easy to find when you look in the right place. - Ana Ferrari

In this episode of “My Love of Life Energy” I am speaking Anna Ferrari as I continue delving into the medicine series. We discuss the nature and beauty of accepting life as it comes in every moment without judging it. She elaborates on her own insights about the phrase:  the past as it does not exist anymore. Using this as a springboard to the conversation she shares how accessible happiness is when we let go of our thinking and our past.

At an early age, Anna was looking for something not knowing exactly what that was; over time she just knew she wanted to feel at home, at ease, she was looking for contentment and peace of mind like most do and she was innocently looking away from the only place that it can be found. She was looking in the world of form for what can only be found in the formless; within. She feels it is divine luck to have been guided to, and by, the most loving and kind community of beings and it is her privilege to share about finding home. She looked forward to this conversation with Anna about the depth of who we are, an inner exploration into SELF-knowledge. Anna is a Three Principles Registered Practitioner and lives in New Zealand with her daughter Ana Sofia"

  • Adriana Cerundolo: I feel most at home when I’m singing.

    QUOTE of the Day:

I feel most at home when I’m singing. - Adriana Cerundolo

In this episode of “My Love of Life Energy” I am speaking Adriana Cerundolo. Our inspiring conversation is about connection, love and expansion. Andriana says that the more you awaken your senses through sound, breath, and movement, the more conscious you become to your body, needs, and desires. This presence, in and of itself, can heal physical and mental ailments; it relaxes the body’s nervous system, returning it to a state of balance. With more oxygen and blood flow, more of the brain comes online, leading to new awareness and “feel good” feelings.

Adriana says that "there's a place beyond constant stress, worry and overwhelms. A place beyond pain and discouragement. Where relaxation and solutions exist. Where physical regeneration and creativity flow. Here, life is vibrant and alive. Here, you are FREE. This place exists inside of you, ready to receive your attention.
Don’t believe it? Neither did I." She spent years searching outside hersleff for “fixes” to GI problems and emotional swings. From medication to diets to spiritual practices, she tried the gamut of tools to find balance.By “balance,” she means a place where I felt like an active participant in her life instead of a victim to emotions, physical ailments, and outside circumstance. IT TURNS OUT, BALANCE IS OUR NATURAL STATE.

Dr. Liz Dobbins is the creatrix of The Holy Wild, a paradigm which emerged after witnessing hundreds of women living a life far more tame than the entirety of their soul's expression. For over 25 years she has fervently studied spirituality, healing, and the Sacred Feminine and is an expert in personal growth. She holds a doctorate in chiropractic and practiced a quantum based modality for 13 years. In 2021, she was in a freak accident that led her into the deepest conversation she had ever held with Spirit. She was forced to surrender her identity completely during this time and what emerged was an even deeper way to bring this body of work forth. She is a potent coach, workshop facilitator, and creatrix of sacred retreats and ceremonies infused with mysticism for women to step fully into their power. She considers herself a modern day medicine woman and a champion for all women.

About My love of life energy with Anna Scott

From the publisher's feed

I know every human being sees life uniquely. One of my favorite things to do is to talk to people about how they see life and learn from them. I like to remind people who they truly are and show them what’s in the way.
