I had the privilege of speaking with the author of the book- "Healing in your hands." She is Dr Kate, Truitt, a clinical psychologist and a neuroscientist from Los Angeles USA.
Dr Truitt has had her fair share of trauma after the loss of her partner of over 10 years. She shared some powerful insight on pain, stress, trauma, and how our brain reacts to these hurtful situations.
She mentioned that there are a lot of hurting people because traumatic situations face us all. However, hurtful people have the power to persevere and come out stronger.
