Thanksgiving is tomorrow. One of the biggest food events of the year.
You got the turkey, stuffing, cornbread, mashed potatoes, sweet potato casserole, pumpkin pie, apple pie… it's like the feast of gluten, dairy and sugar… all the things we're trying to avoid to best manage MS. That's hard.
That's hard physically, mentally, emotionally - and it's hard socially. Will other people make comments or judgements about what you're eating or not eating?
Will they ask questions that you're not prepared to answer? Will you feel separated from the family because you're not eating off the same plate as them?
I want to have a little heart to heart with you before we show up at the dinner table tomorrow.
And I want to share some tips with you to navigate the social side of eating.
