A word or two from my siblings about Daddy.  My sister April is a retired Nurse Anesthetist.  My brother Doug is a retired lawyer.  Plus a story about Daddy's military days in his own condensed words.  And a very important personal question. 

This is a post in remembrance of my Daddy who passed away Saturday, January 23, 2021 at age 98.  There is a picture of him on my blog - www.whatwouldajesusgirldo.com along with a Bible story of an elderly man and how Julia Ward Howe came to write                  The Battle Hymn of the Republic (my Daddy's favorite) during the Civil War.  She lived until age 91.  On my blog in a video, Lee Greenwood sings this song.

Remember the old saying "Seeing is believing?"  Not so, when it comes to believing faith.  Seeing is Seeing but Believing is being sure when you cannot see.  Hebrews 11:1

This next week will be particularly stressful as we watch the preparation of the Inauguration of the new President.  Here are 3 reasons why we don't calm down and what to do about it . . 

George Bailey and It's a Wonderful Life . . my favorite part is he and Mary squished together on the phone because her Mom is on the extension.  George's resolve fades away and they end up together.  In a different time a rich young ruler falls at the feet of Jesus, then a discussion before he walks away.  He is unable to accept the Chance of a Lifetime because his heart is full of the love of money.
