This is the first of two episodes on Sergio Leone's great western Once apon a time in the West with Nigel Bunyan.
I got to interview Nigel in person (a first for the podcast) and we chatted about a lot of topics and looked back a little on the 25 years we have known each other.
Nigel was a fellow classmate in the Dun Laoghaire College of Art and Design class of 1997. In the quarter of a century since graduating he has moved to London and worked as an assistant editor and then editor in feature films and television. (Recent work includes the BBC series Magpie Murders and ITV series Tom Jones - at the time of recording he was cutting the BBC series Beyond Paradise.) He’s lost his waistline and hairline but kept most of his accent and gained a lovely family – he thinks this is an excellent deal.
