Welcome to episode number seven of the "My Quest For Quotes" podcast. This week we talk about morning routines. The title of this episode is, "Win the Morning Win the Day." Many people believe that to win the morning you need a morning routine.
I can't be sure where I first heard the phrase, "win the morning win the day", but I am fairly certain that I first heard it from Tim Ferriss author of "The Four Hour Workweek." For him the ideal morning routine includes, making your bed, meditation, exercise, drinking tea and journaling.
My favorite morning routine actually comes from the book, "Miracle Morning", by Hal Elrod. The Miracle Morning routine includes, silence, affirmations, visualization, exercise, reading and scribe(journal). Hal uses the acronym S A V E R S for easy recall.
