After attending Keri's Survivor group to process the attack at the bookstore, Grace is blindsided by Daniel's unexpected visit and the news that follows. Chapter 18: Keri must smuggle the drugs that she'd lifted from the evidence folder to the safety of her storage unit. Then she enjoys an evening with Tommy at a pub.

Chapter 19: Keri preps the drugs and syringe for her trip to Irvin Fletcher's house. Everything begins smoothly, but Irvin surprises her.

Chapter 20: Grace & Ryan visit the police department and run into Tommy and Keri.

After the terrifying attack at the bookstore, Grace finds refuge at Ryan's apartment. Exhausted and shaken, she falls asleep on his sofa. When Grace wakes up, their shared relief and undeniable chemistry ignite into a tender and passionate moment, leading them to explore a new, deeper connection amidst the chaos.

Chapter 15 - Lizzy and Grace speak with police officers about the attack in the book store. Ryan hustles to the book store to assure himself that Grace and Lizzy are safe.

Chapter 16 - Keri has a new man on her list, but she just needs the right drugs to do the job. A mishap at the police station gives her the opportunity she steal some drugs for her "evening" plans with her new target.

Grace and Lizzy go to a bookstore to get books for their classrooms. As they are checking out, Lizzy is grabbed and held with a knife to her throat. Not willing to go down easily, she and Grace fight back and make the man regret messing with them.

Ch 12 Keri and Tommy go on their first date and finish the night exploring their feelings for each other. Ch 13 Keri goes on the hunt for her next project.

Grace and Ryan have their first date at the Harrisburg Lake where they discover more about each other and enjoy a kiss as the sun sets.

A file lands on Keri's desk that catches her eye. Irvin Fletcher's file is thicker than most, yet he's allowed out on bail before his trail. With his 'soft on crime' bleeding heart, Judge Hawkins had committed a fatal mistake. Keri had her next mark.

Ryan and Tyson give a presentation on self-defense for the Carrisburg Elementary School, in hopes that Grace will be there.

Grace is embarraased and humiliated when she spots Ryan at the self-defense seminar. In hopes that he won't see her, she convinces Lizzy to give her Lizzy's baseball cap. Ryan falls a little bit harder for Grace as he sees how desperately she is trying not be noticed.
