After losing in blowout fashion to the Kansas Jayhawks, WVU football fans are having to re-evaluate their expectations for this Mountaineer team for 2025. With Rich Rodriguez in his first year back in Morgantown, and the fact he brought in over 80 new players, maybe a winning season isn’t realistic. In this episode, Couz will take a look at his original preseason record prediction for WVU and tell you whether or not he is changing that prediction based on what he has seen the first month of the season.
WVU still has road games at BYU, UCF, Houston and Arizona State; as well as home games against Utah, TCU, Colorado and Texas Tech. With a schedule this tough, combined with the rebuilt roster and injuries sustained by several Mountaineer players; it may be tough to find four more wins for bowl eligibility. Will that happen?
