They really are incredibly sympatico kids
Meaning friendly, gentleman, cordial and cute

OMG …
What a shame 
Every time I get to meet them, it’s a funeral 

We say … “We have to come over!”
They in Las Vegas and I, in Staten Island, NY 
We got to do better than meeting in funerals!

What is that stops all of us from not 
Being able to push our clocks backward 
It’s a human-nature thing …

Life, goes by so fast 
Like the second hand of a clock 
Not even, if you wear a watch you notice it turns

Going back to my nephew 
Three super sons 
Jared, bearded black full headed guy 

With a smile like a God 
Intellect of a saint 
Humor of that of Superman 

Timothy, with a smile like the statue of David 
He only can hear words of God-like sentences 
All other, he thus become mute 

James, with same name as my only son 
Siemese twin of actor Justin Long 
Quiet, reserve but, cool like the breeze of colors 

Now my niece Marlenis, Joselito’s sister 
She’s 42 looking like 20
OMG, is the Frias genes 

What Do, I mean? 
Frias’s women don’t age 
They take pride looking young and in tune 

Her two sons: Mason 11 and Aiden 17
Like their father Andrew, handsome 
Funeral Sunday 6/23/24, I cried 

Their father gone too soon at 42
A police officer, a Broward Sheriff Deputy 
South Miami Dade, a job 24-7, he did well

His colleagues all spoke of his heroic work ethics
He now with his God, that we not 
We will all met Him, and Him one day 

It is our deep believe … we must all be super GOOD, like 
Andrew, A police officer, a husband, father, brother, sister or very dear friend 2many

There, I sitting absorbing it all in 
It was on a Monday, the Lord called Andrew
How would he respond? 

Andrew did not hesitant, not crawl He was not weak
But, strong in his response? Was he? 
You judge this man not? Leave it all to God 

Only, He knows Andrew
We missed the opportunity?
Now, it is He whom will benefit most 

He is now looking down 
On his wife …
Most of all, his two sons Aiden and Mason 

Arden stated, would had been nice 
“If my father would had been there 4my graduation!”
Arden know, he will be there and always 

It’s easy said, then done 
To depart from your loved ones 
It’s even harder not to understand God’s plan 

I can only pray …
God, you made the right choice 
To take Andrew leave a widow and two orphans 

I can only question you why? 
I went to Andrew and Marlenis’ wedding 
A light blue strapless dress, worn by I

Now, I’ve tears in my eyes 
It was my hands as my tissue
My heart of art absorbing all the words 

I folded the night as I kissed my family good night 
I scared, long 70 miles ride driving in Florida Turnpike at night, I don’t drive this far 

I ask my nephew, Joselito, my sisters and 
My Jose to pray 
I almost didn’t make it 

I closing in to be next in a coffin?
Not my time, yet 
My car front light didn’t turn on 

Orange barrels supposedly for traffic 
Became engaged with my car, as they met 
It both, came to a full stop 

When you get into a driving car …
Know, it can be your last as is a death trap 
God was driving and I, His passenger  

Am glad to end 
He is my friend, my best friend 
He can be yours too, seek and call out to Him

He’s waiting 
Call Him, any way you can 
He’s waiting … don’t let it be too long
