In this YouTube episode I speak to Matthew Boynton all the way from Japan! Matthew started his own Beer Craft business in Japan just before Covid hit and i was interested how that along with the Olympics had affected him and his business in Japan. We talk about how he became a brewer and the road that led him on a very different path. We also talk about what its like to live in Japan from someone who originally grew up in Scotland, a far cry away. Matthew is a great guy dedicated to his business and making it successful and i really hope he pulls it off after the worst start through no fault of his own. He invited me over so i might be in Japan for a podcast episode soon....i wish lol!

In this episode I speak to fellow midlander and filmmaker Darren Scott. Having tried to find the right time to speak to Darren over the last four years we finally made it and it was great to catch up. Darren talks about how he got into filmmaking and also his love of music. We also cover how Darren latest film has been caught in the Pandemic and what that meant for him and his crew. I loved speaking to Darren because as both being filmmakers i totally understand his struggles but couldn't help but be impressed by his resilience to carry on filming despite COVID. BIG UP for us MIDLANDERS, we will rule there WORLD one day or win a BAFTA lol !
