My Way Of Thinking

In this podcast episode i interview the brilliant Georgia Police spokeswomen Nelly Miles. After listening to Nelly on Clubhouse i really enjoyed her talks and i was also impressed with her career in the Police department. Being a busy mum and in such a prominent role i was interested in how she juggled her schedule and what the actual role entailed. We cover how she grew into the position after starting in forensics and we talk about what her job as Spokeswomen means on a wider scale. I love Nellys honesty and straight talking nature and although i asked her about current subjects in America she was always forward in saying that her job is to report and not convey an opinion. Oh and we talked about Chick-fil-a on top of that........so thats worth listening for alone! I think what Nelly is doing is so important and i was blown away by her work ethic and commitment. I cant wait to see how her career develops!

In this podcast episode i speak to the brilliant sculptor and creative Adam Dougherty all the way from Colorado. I spotted Adams work when his video of him sculpting and creating Grunkel Stan went viral on YouTube with over 15 million hits. I was blown away by his talents and the patience he used while designing the piece. I was also interested in how he got into making art and working with clay. What was really interesting was Adams work on big films such as Jurassic World and Annabelle. He explains that even though the projects have big budgets he still doesn't get to use his creativity the way he wants. What i loved about Adam was that he was pursuing his passion and staying true to himself even though it would be easier for him to take sides steps. If you haven't seen the amazing video on YouTube watch it below, i cant wait to see what Adam gets up to next!

In this Podcast episode I speak to one of Americas biggest fraudsters and cyber criminals John Boseak. It was great to get John on the podcast because he is so honest about his past and talks freely on any subject. We start by talking about his growing up and how difficult it was for him and how he coped with recovery from it. We also talk about how he got into credit card scamming and the wealth it bought him. John comes with so many interesting and insightful stories but he is also straight to the point about the options he had and how in the end crime doesn't pay. What i liked about John was the fact that he openly admitted to his crimes and that he was now turning his life around. I also found it interesting that John noticed that there was a lack of support for prisoners when they are released and how that can be detrimental to the system of rehabilitation. Im sure you'll find this interview as fascinating as i did, enjoy!

In this podcast episode I speak to the inspirational Joe Plumb. Joe's journey is something most people can only imagine, while young, being bullied and having Autism Joe admits his childhood was at times very lonely. With medical conditions treated incorrectly and not receiving the proper care he needed it pushed Joe to try to end his life. Joe talks openly and honestly about his difficulties growing up but he also offers hope to others going though the same thing. Joe has now turned things around and is trying to help young people who suffer from Mental illnesses wherever he can. Among many things he is now a Mental Health Campaigner, Kidscape and Ditch the Label Ambassador, Public Figure, #britaingettalking among many other things. It was an honour for me to have Joe tell his story and an absolute inspiration to others that no matter how dark times can be there is always hope and a way through.
