On this Podcast episode i speak to Chris Mcilvenny from over the Irish Sea in Belfast. We talk about how he fell into the role of becoming an actor and where its led him so far, which includes being an extra on the famous Game of Thrones set. Even though Chris is still at the beginning of his journey he already has some great stories and insights to talk about. We also cover his travels and how the recent pandemic affected him while he was stuck in Italy. I really enjoyed talking to Chris who even though he is still young; has a solid work-ethic and is not scared of the hurdles he will have to overcome to become successful. Then we get onto the more serious side of the conversation which is all about Amelias BIPOLAR disorder. Amelia talks openly about how it has affected her life and how she has now learned to cope with it in a more active way. She offers insight along with advice on how it took time for her to get into a place now where she can live with it on a daily basis. Amelia is living proof that no matter how difficult things can be there is always a way through. This episode really shows how strong people can be when faced with life changing conditions and that hope, resilience and education are key. He was diagnosed with a rare blood cancer called MYELOMA last year and he speaks honestly about his journey and how he got through it. We talk about how he stayed optimistic and focused throughout and what got him past the difficult times. I really enjoyed talking to Dan because not only was he a pleasure to interview about such an important and tough subject but also that he made it so relatable and positive. This podcast really does serve as a reminder of how remarkable we can all be when up against the odds and Dan was such an inspiring and humbling guest. On this weeks Podcast episode i was soooo excited to be talking to the inspiring Giles Alderson fresh from his 200th episode on the brilliant 'The Filmmakers Podcast'. Before we started we had the small job of shutting up a possessed Baby Yoda and talking about fake Genies and Lamps. Giles openly talks about his journey and how he actually started wanting to be a professional footballer but then when that didn't work out how he soon changed his path. We then chat about his calling into the creative world by becoming an actor and how he finally became a film director among other positions in the movie business. For me being a filmmaker myself i loved talking to Giles about his experiences and advice, but he also offers a great insight for others into the film industries and is not afraid to be honest about his decisions. I really hope everyone enjoys this episode as much as i did and i can't wait to see what Giles gets up to next!

Being so lucky to have been granted access to the big man himself I really wanted to delve into what makes him tick and ask him some of the questions that he might not always get asked. A great introduction at the start of my interview was when he checked his special book and found out I was naughty when I was 11 years old!!!
