Happy Halloween, join us for three spooky mysteries all in one episode (you lucky lot):
1 - The Phantom Clowns of Brookline
2 - The Mystical Coffins of Camelot
3 - The Zaragoza Goblin
It’s a quiet evening in August, 1977.
At Ohio State University, a massive, white metal structure stretches across a field — part of a now-forgotten experiment scanning the heavens.
They called it the Big Ear. A radio telescope, listening for whispers from the stars.
That night, it hears something.
A signal — not noise, not static. A concentrated, narrowband burst. It lasts just 72 seconds. Strong. Focused. Originating from deep space, near the constellation Sagittarius.
And then… it’s gone.
*Days later, astronomer Jerry Ehman pores over the computer printouts. He circles a sequence of characters — ‘6EQUJ5’ — and writes one word beside it in red ink:
‘Wow!’
What was it? A transmission from intelligent life? A glitch? A secret we were never supposed to hear?
This is the story of the Wow! Signal — the most mysterious broadcast ever received from the stars.
Centuries ago, in the small Suffolk village of Woolpit, the fields rolled green under a warm summer sky.
The harvest was coming in — and life was ordinary, as it had been for generations.
Until the day the children appeared.
They came from the edge of a wolf pit — two of them. A boy and a girl. Their clothes were strange, their speech unrecognizable… and their skin was green.
They said they came from a land bathed in perpetual twilight — a place they called ‘the Land of Saint Martin’. And then… they were gone.
Was this a folk tale? A garbled memory of real events? Or something far stranger, hiding in the pages of history?”
High in the mist-covered peaks of Scotland’s Ben Macdui, a presence lurks—silent, unsettling, and terrifying. The locals call it the Big Grey Man. Towering and unseen, it’s been known to cast a shadow over the bravest of hikers, striking them with an overwhelming sense of dread and, in some cases, even driving them mad. But is this elusive figure merely a ghostly myth, or is there something far darker stalking the hills?
Join us as we venture into the unknown and uncover the chilling mystery behind the Big Grey Man of Ben Macdui… and ask yourself: Would you dare to face what’s waiting in the mist?
It was a sunny afternoon in May 1964, in the quiet English countryside near the Solway Firth. A fireman named Jim Templeton took a simple photograph of his daughter—just a moment of innocence captured on film. But what he found when he developed that photo would spark decades of debate, speculation, and conspiracy. Because standing behind his daughter… was a figure. A tall, white-suited being that looked, unmistakably, like a spaceman.
There were no other people there. No one in costume. No explanation.
The image became one of the most iconic and perplexing photographic anomalies of the 20th century—and to this day, it's never been fully explained to everyone’s satisfaction."
Was it a trick of the light? A visitor from another world? Or something stranger?
One night in 1949, a young Hollywood actress left her Los Angeles apartment—and vanished without a trace. Jean Spangler’s disappearance sent shockwaves through the city, leaving behind a single torn purse, a cryptic note, and a trail of unanswered questions.
Who was “Kirk”? Why was Jean’s name whispered in connection with the mob? And how did her story become entangled with some of Hollywood’s most powerful figures?
This case has it all: glamour, scandal, and a mystery that remains unsolved to this day. Step into the shadows of old Hollywood, where fame, secrets, and danger often walked hand in hand.
London, 1969.A shadow drifts through crumbling gravestones…A figure, pale and cloaked in black, stalks the mist-shrouded paths of Highgate Cemetery. Some called it a ghost. Others, a demon. But one man declared it a vampire—the King of the Undead. What followed was one of Britain’s most bizarre and enduring supernatural sagas: a media frenzy, secret rituals, grave desecrations… even talk of a magical duel at dawn. The aftermath: two men locked horns in a decades-long feud over who would defeat the ancient evil said to haunt the cemetery’s tombs. Was it mass hysteria? A gothic hoax? Or did something truly sinister stalk the graves of Highgate?
One night in March 1969 David Farrant was wandering through the Highgate Cemetery in London, when he started feeling a very eerie presence behind him, that weird feeling you get when someone is watching you. He spun round and scanned the area, but couldn’t see much other than the overgrown Victorian built cemetery, with its tired headstones of yesteryear. This sense of dread made him head for the exit but due to the darkness, he got lost and began to panic. Darting through the night the headstones and shrubs became a blur as he began to quicken his pace, desperate to get out, until he saw it….

It was Halloween night in 1982 New York, everyone was dressing up and hitting the town, including one James Adamski; an 18 year old high school student looking to have a few beers and dance the night away, he was wearing what he called his ‘American Gigolo look’. A gigolo being a younger man who is financially supported by usually an older woman (or man I suppose) to be their escort.
The drinks are flowing, the music’s blasting, James is rocking the gigolo garms, everyone’s having a hell of a Halloween, until James decides to call it a night at 3:30am, stumbling out of the bar after a few too many. That was the last time James was seen alive…
