Story Transcript:

Cy: Ar fore Gŵyl Dewi yn farchnad ganolog Caerdydd, roedd yr awyrgylch yn llawn egni a dathlu.
En: On the morning of Gŵyl Dewi at the central market in Caerdydd, the atmosphere was full of energy and celebration.

Cy: Roedd baneri baner Cymru yn chwifio o bob cornel.
En: Flags of the baner Cymru were waving from every corner.

Cy: Roedd Eleri, myfyrwraig chwilfrydig, yn cerdded rhwng stondinau lliwgar, ei llygaid yn brathu pob manylyn.
En: Eleri, a curious student, walked between colorful stalls, her eyes catching every detail.

Cy: Roedd y farchnad yn wych y diwrnod yma, gydag arogleuon bara ffres a chaws o bob cwr.
En: The market was splendid that day, with the aromas of fresh bread and cheese from every corner.

Cy: Ond roedd rhywbeth yn codi ei ochr body.
En: But something was raising her interest.

Cy: Wrth gerdded heibio stondin Gwyn, gwelodd bag brown bach, anghyffredin ei olwg, wedi ei adael gan ddieithryn.
En: As she walked past Gwyn's stall, she saw a small brown bag, unusual in appearance, left by a stranger.

Cy: “Be’ oedd o ran bod?” meddai Eleri yn dawel.
En: "What could it be?" Eleri murmured quietly.

Cy: “Eleri!” gwaeddodd Gwyn, yn ystyfnig ond yn garedig, wrth weld gridan ar ei hwyneb.
En: "Eleri!" shouted Gwyn, stubborn but kind, upon seeing a grin on her face.

Cy: “Rwyt ti’n chwilio am rywbeth arbennig heddiw?”
En: "Are you looking for something special today?"

Cy: “Dim heb ragor am y bag yna, Gwyn,” atebodd Eleri, yn estyn i gymryd y bag heb orchwyl pellach.
En: “Not without more about that bag, Gwyn,” replied Eleri, reaching out to take the bag without further ado.

Cy: Gwyn wenu, heb awdurdod, “Cofiwch... nid yw pob hyn sy’n pefrirog yn aur.”
En: Gwyn smiled, without authority, "Remember... not all that glitters is gold."

Cy: Dewisodd Eleri ymddiried yn Rhys, pencenadur pensiynedig a ffrind ocsiyn busnes ymchwilio.
En: Eleri decided to trust Rhys, a retired head and a friend of an investigation business.

Cy: “Rhys!” galwodd hi, gan ddarganfod ei lys at baned coffi mae’n hysbys ei fwynhau ar foreau fel hyn.
En: "Rhys!" she called, finding his usual corner with a cup of coffee he is known to enjoy on mornings like these.

Cy: “Eleri, beth yw’r mater?” gofynnodd y dyddiso, wedi synnwyd ond yn barod i helpu.
En: "Eleri, what’s the matter?" asked the gentleman, surprised but ready to help.

Cy: “Rwyf wedi dod ar draws rhywbeth diddorol,” meddai hi, gan ddidanu bag i ddwylo Rhys.
En: "I've come across something interesting," she said, entertaining the bag into Rhys's hands.

Cy: Rhys edrychodd ar y bag cyn arogli’r amgueddfa.
En: Rhys looked at the bag before smelling the mystery.

Cy: “Hmm, mae’n amlwg yn cuddio rhywbeth mwy gwerthfawr na’n dyfalu. Dewch i ni agor yn syth.”
En: “Hmm, it’s clearly hiding something more valuable than we’re guessing. Let’s open it right away.”

Cy: Yn ofalus, agorwyd Rhys y pecyn.
En: Carefully, Rhys opened the package.

Cy: Yn ei fewn, roedd nodyn heb arwyddo, ac hefyd neges mewn cod rhyfedd.
En: Inside, there was a note without a signature and also a message in a strange code.

Cy: Eleri, yn sicr mai hwn oedd ei phwysigrwydd, edrych fwyaf hir ar Rhys.
En: Eleri, certain of its importance, looked more intensely at Rhys.

Cy: “Mae’n rhaid bod hwn yn bethau o wirionedd,” byrfyrodd Rhys, yn dod â ystyr i’r cyfan.
En: "This must be matters of truth," Rhys muttered, bringing meaning to it all.

Cy: Ar ôl gwneud ymchwil manwl dros ben, darganfyddant eu bod wedi derbyn cod cyfrin rygbi.
En: After conducting extremely detailed research, they discovered they had received a secret rugby code.

Cy: “Maen nhw am drefnu cyfarfod cudd.”
En: "They’re planning to arrange a secret meeting."

Cy: Gyda hynny, cefnogaeth Eleri a Rhys llwyddodd i ddirgelwch ei gudd, gan ddad-ddatgelu fod y neges yn cyfeirio at gasgliad elusennol ar gyfer dathliadau Gŵyl Dewi.
En: With that, thanks to the support of Eleri and Rhys, they succeeded in uncovering the mystery, revealing that the message referred to a charitable gathering for the Gŵyl Dewi celebrations.

Cy: Yn gorffen, roedd Eleri’n gwybod bod y pecyn yn cynnwys rhoddion a negeseuon personol gan roddwyr anhysbys.
En: In conclusion, Eleri knew that the package contained donations and personal messages from anonymous donors.

Cy: Sicrhau bod y pecyn yn cyrraedd ei le priodol mewn pryd i’r digwyddiad oedd yn bwysicach na dim arall i Eleri.
En: Ensuring that the package reached its proper place in time for the event was more important than anything else to Eleri.

Cy: Am y tro cyntaf, roedd Eleri yn ymwybodol o’i gallu i ddatrys problemau ac yn gwerthfawrogi bwysigrwydd cymunedol.
En: For the first time, Eleri was aware of her ability to solve problems and appreciated the importance of community.

Cy: Yn thro olaf, roedd mor gywir o feddwl, nid oedd pob datrys yn dod trwy drysor.
En: In the final turn, she was as right as ever in thinking that not every resolution comes through treasure.

Cy: Roedd gwirdrysor yn gorwedd yn haelioni.
En: The true treasure lies in generosity.
