Hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy all time radio podcast. I hope you guys are having a wonderful night as your shopping for the turkey getting ready for the big turkey day. Or just relaxing and thanking God for what he has truly blessed you with this Thanksgiving season. Whatever you are doing I hope you guys enjoy my presentation as I bring you part one of giving November. As we celebrate giving November we remember to be thankful to God everyday not just once or twice a year but every day is a blessing from him. Please join me as I bring to the show Mr David Krueger in the Hallmark playhouse presentation of Pete Thanksgiving. In this we find a man and a woman have came from their native land of Europe to come to America to fulfill their dream of owning a restaurant. As preparations are going for the restaurant Pete's wife gives him a letter from the Red Cross and Pete thinks it's some exciting news about how well his grandmother is doing. But Pete ended up ripping up the letter and not telling his wife what it's about. Later on in the episode we find Pete and his wife getting ready for there Thanksgiving grand opening and Pete goes to local businessmen who have a club and tells them the wonderful news that he's wanting to do for them filling up their stomachs for nothing on Thanksgiving Day. As a representation of how wonderful America is by giving an immigrant a dream and a place to call home. The men in the club start laughing after Pete leaves and saying how ludicrous is idea is. But later on we find out that Pete has given all his money and all his food to feed the poor community in the town that he lives in. The poor people are so deeply touched by his war in generosity that he goes to the men at the club a second time and tells them what he did and he tells them the sad off of truth about his grandmother passing away from starvation as she had nothing to eat but grass and some soap. So the midnight the plug end up having a change of heart and ask the couple is celebrating Thanksgiving and not comes on their door and it's the man that is the head of the club and he ends up giving them a lot of food that the whole town has raised as the warrant of this holiday season reminds us to be thankful. Hi guys and welcome back to the mystery comedy old time radio podcast. Please welcome back to the show as we continue our spooktober presentation part 3. Miss Alice Fay and Mr Phil Harris in the Alice Fay and Phil Harris show part 4. I know it\'s been a while since I dropped you guys an episode I do sincerely apologize I\'ve been very busy with my personal life and work life. But I\'m back for tonight and tomorrow afternoon and tomorrow night as we wrap up our spooktober part 3 presentation. I hope you guys have enjoyed your October so far and the nice cool weather. But please join me as we bring to the show Phil Harris and Alice Fay. In this first episode we find their daughters Phyllis and baby Alice trying to figure out what they want to wear to a costume party that they\'re attending when they decide on an Indian costume their mother thinks that\'s a great idea. So when both parents are gone the girls have an idea that Phyllis will cut baby Alice\'s hair. But when their dad comes he shocked to find his daughter in that condition so to keep him out of the hot seat his friend has an idea. To cut his daughter\'s hair to even it out but unfortunately does it not even out it freaks out their mother when she comes home and screams as she sees her daughter looking like a mannequin. So the girls go to their party with wigs on their hair to fix up the mess that their dad made. And it is called the costume party. In this next episode we find the couple trying to decide what the theme and costumes are going to be for their Halloween party that they\'re hosting as they go through the singing Alice has had enough of one guys singing and it\'s not her husband. So her husband and her end up not only hosting but providing the musical entertainment for the evening. And it is called the Halloween party. And welcome to spooktober part 3 I hope you guys had a wonderful summer and now that the weather is cooling down it is time to bring back something now chill your spines. Join me as I bring to the show Ms Mercedes mccambridge and two other shows in death makes a phone call. In this first episode we find a man who is being tormented by his wife who died a year ago. Every hour on the hour she calls him on the phone and tells him how many hours he\'s got to live. It is called beyond the grave and then this next episode we find that a husband has told his wife that he wants a phone line to be installed in his coffin when he passes away. But his wife is so loyal that she does what her husband asked her to do and waits by the phone until the unthinkable happens when someone knocks at her door and she sees standing before her a man that she thought was dead whom she had Loved before. So she is contemplating in her mind whether to stay and wait for her husband\'s call or follow her heart\'s desire. But unfortunately for the man in the coffin the phone is left ringing until the very end and it is called the line is dead. In this final episode we find a woman who has been tormented by her husband\'s phone calls and ends up getting caught up in a web of corruption when she corrupts herself to confessing to the murder of her husband. But her husband is calling her every hour on the hour and telling her how many hours she has to live and torments her with a song that he played when he was alive. Hi guys and welcome back to the mystery and comedy old time radio podcast. Please join me as we welcome in his first episode on the show Mr Cary Grant. Mr Grant started his career out in the 1930s appearing in many movies before receiving an honorary mention for an Academy Award in the 1942 movie Penny Serenade and none but the Lonely Heart. Even though Mr Grant never received an Academy Award until 1970 when he received an honorary award for his film career. Mr Grant also received a Kennedy honor award in 1980. Before passing away in 1982. But tonight Mr Grant comes to the show to chill our spines in two episodes of suspense. In this first episode he plays a man who has taken a nasty fall on the street and ends up in a coma but ends up coming to with a lot of people around him. When they tell the man that it is December instead of July he comes to realize that he has lost about 3 years of his life. So when he tries to go home a detective is following him home to try to capture him for a murder that he did not even remember doing. So with the help of his wife they end up going to the house where the murder took place. But it\'s not until later that he ends up finding out that the murderer is closer to him then he could ever imagine. It is called the black curtain. In this next episode Mr Grant plays a married man who is coming back from a picnic with his wife when all the sudden it begins to rain and a News Bulletin is on the radio so they listen in. As the news broadcaster tells the breaking news of woman who escaped from in Asylum and is murdering people as they pick her up. So the couple ends up driving until they run out of gas when all the sudden out of the pitch black darkness they see a woman who they believe to be the crazy woman and she ends up getting in their car. But it\'s not until later that they find out that the crazy woman has been captured. It is called on a country road.
