Cs: Na jedné klidné sluneční odpoledne, Jakub a Eva se procházeli po Karlově mostě.
En: On a serene sunny afternoon, Jakub and Eva were strolling across the Charles Bridge.

Cs: Měli rádi krásný výhled na město a Vltavu.
En: They loved the beautiful view of the city and the Vltava River.

Cs: Slyšeli, jak rackové zpívají a lodě tiše kloužou po řece.
En: They could hear the seagulls singing and the boats gliding silently on the river.

Cs: Jakub se náhle zvedl ze starého kamene a našel tajemný lístek mezi kameny mostu.
En: Jakub suddenly stood up from an old stone and found a mysterious note among the stones of the bridge.

Cs: Podal jej Evě.
En: He handed it to Eva.

Cs: "Podívej se, co jsem našel," řekl s úžasem.
En: "Look what I found," he said in amazement.

Cs: Eva jemně vzala lístek a začala ho číst.
En: Eva gently took the note and began to read it.

Cs: Na lístku stálo: "Hledání pokladu začíná zde.

En: Look under the statue of Saint John of Nepomuk."

Cs: Nemohli tomu uvěřit.
En: They could hardly believe it.

Cs: Rychle šli k soše.
En: They quickly went to the statue.

Cs: "Je to vůbec možné?"
En: "Is it even possible?"

Cs: ptala se Eva a oči jí zářily vzrušením.

Cs: To už se stmívalo, ale Jakub a Eva se nenechali odradit.

Cs: Během hledání našli malou skříňku pod ní.
